We encountered a client where a manufacturer sold their product out of the box promising to deliver features and functionality based on the client requirements. The client paid nearly half a million dollars for the out of the box product and spent an extra few million dollars to ‘customize’ the application to meet their requirements and needs. The product was customized and programmed to meet the bells and whistles of all the perks that the product was advertised to deliver out of the box. If the application had to be programmed and coded entirely, then why did the client have to pay the initial half million dollars for out of the box features that did not meet their business needs? Plus not to mention the infrastructure and resource cost to run and maintain the application.
As we observed and realized that there are many clients going through similar pain point experiences, we decided to take action and make a difference. Acolyst went to the drawing board; spoke with various partners and clients and with support, the vision of VENE came to life.
Acolyst’s data process management application, VENE, is designed and configured specific to the user environment, automating business processes. This makes life easier for customers to manage their data and allowing them to share information, collaborate, manage documents, generate reports, and communicate with other systems. This is done by processing data based on certain rules specific to the organization’s needs, called business logic and/or rules. Actions of business rules can perform a variety of tasks.
VENE is entirely Cloud based relieving end users with the hassle of dealing with infrastructure and maintenance schedules.
